Upcycling is the conversion of items that have
outlived their commercial usefulness into new things that are
functional or beautiful, or both.

be useful, or believe to be beautiful”
It is possibly because of this mindset that we find so many
things being thrown in the recycle box or trash bin.
Upcycling upholds the useful or beatiful principle
while attempting to make use of some of the consumables that we
so regularly throw away.
From turning plastic grocery bags into stronger, more
durable material to create new useful items, to weaving and
knitting old VHS tape into a work of art, upcycling can spur
your imagination and make you look at your trash in a whole new
way.
