Sock Elves

Disney's Family Fun magazine came up with this cool idea for dealing with the inevitable unmatched socks that show up in every family's laundry pile.

The craft is easy enough for kids to do by themselves, or for you to do with younger kids who can't sew yet.

All you need are some socks (pre-colored or dyed), jingle bells, beans or something suitable to substitute for filling, and buttons, pompoms or other material to add on for eyes.
